Easter Take Out Box

Remember the gift idea I made from the Petal Cone die for the Big Shot. CLICK HERE! I first saw this little box on my 2nd upline Heather Summers blog and I had to try it.

When my crafting ladies and nephew signed up for the Easter craft, I asked them to pick either blue (Baja Breeze) or pink (Rose Red) and they would make a craft with the colour they chose. It was these boxes that they made just in the colour they chose.

Supplies Used:
Stamp Set: Easter Blossoms 121905W & 122057C
Card Stock: Rose Red -2 3/4 x 2 & Petal Cone die cut; Baja Breeze -2 3/4 x 2 & Petal Cone die cut; Very Vanilla -label
Ink: Classic Stampin' Pad -Rose Red ; Baja Breeze
Other Supplies: Big Shot 113439; Petal Cone Die 121810; Very Vanilla Seam Binding 120999; Big Designer Springtime Vintage Buttons 122301; Antique Eyelet 108431; Hemp Twine 100982; Crop-a-dile 108362; Spiral Border Punch 119872

Only 2 days left to order from the Occasions Mini Catalogue. May 1st starts the Summer Mini Catalogue and there are great stamp sets, embellishments and more in this mini!! If you would like a mini catalogue and live in Canada and don't have a Stampin' Up demonstrator, please send me an email at scrapwithsusie@hotmail.com with your address!

Have a wonderful day!!

Altered Book

I love how you can take a simple notebook and turn it into something beautiful.

I took this type of book and made this project:

I just love how this turned out.

Close up of the butterflies and button. I also stamped the A to Z stamp on the Rose Red card stock and stamped Details over top.

I stamped the pages as well using the butterfly from the stamp set Thanks for Caring

Supplies Used
Stamp Sets: Thanks for Caring 121901W & 121961C; Notes & Details 122022W & 122060 -both stamp sets from the Occasions Mini Catalogue; A to Z 115711W; Vintage Vogue 117690W & 118598C
Card Stock: Sweet & Sour Specialty DSP 117390; Early Espresso; Rose Red; Pumpkin Pie; Very Vanilla
Ink: Classic Stampin' Pad -Early Espresso 119670; Rose Red 101778; Pumpkin Pie 105216
Other Supplies: Big Shot 113439; Top Note Die 113463; Beautiful Butterflies Die 114507; Crop-a-Dile 108362; Cutter Kit 106958; Sanding Block 103301; Anywhere Glue Stick 104045; Victoria Crochet Trim 118481; Hemp Twine 100982; Early Espresso 5/8" Satin Ribbon 119753; Pumpkin Pie 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon 119253; Early Espresso 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon 119964; Very Vanilla 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon 109071; Pretty in Pink 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon 109067; Pumpkin Pie 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon 119760; Pretty in Pink 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon 119956; Very Vanilla 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon 109055; Pretty in Pink 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon 109032; Very Vanilla 1/2" Seam Binding Ribbon 120999; Rose Red 1/2" Seam Binding Ribbon 121884; Rose Red Springtime Vintage Big Designer Button 122301

Tool Tip: After cutting an image with the big shot, alter the image by cutting part of it off. I did this with the Early Espresso Top Note by cutting 1/4" of it off and adhering it to my cover. This gives the top note a different look!!

I hope you have a great day!!

Sweet Treat Slider Card!!

I am in love with these Treat Cups. You can get these in the circle cups or in the heart cups. Stampin' Up! has some great stamp sets that coordinates with these cups. Check them out on pages 58 and 59 in the Idea Book & Catalogue. These cups can be found on page 170 of the same catalogue.

These cups are great for birthday cards and invitations as well as baby cards and much more.

I hope you like this card as much as I do!! First I'd like to thank Heather Summers (my 2nd upline) for the idea on this card. This is a case to one of her cards, I just changed it up some.

Here it is!

Another great thing about this card is that your children don't need to rip it apart to get their treats. When you pull the top ribbon up, you reveal a punched hole so the children can take their treats out easily and refill them too. Isn't that just GREAT!!!
